Tensoplast STK Skin Traction Kit (Pack of 12 Kits)
The Tensoplast STK Skin Traction Kit (Pack of 12 Kits) is designed for use during patient skin tractions, enabling sustained traction weight support to be applied as safely as possible during the stages of healing and repairing. Each kit can be used with a variety of different traction methods, and are available in an adhesive and non-adhesive version to suit different types of patients' skin.
What's Included?
Each kit includes all of the bandages required for the safe application of sustained traction weight support. Please note that weights are not included; these must be acquired to suit the individual requirements of each patient.
Who Can Use the Skin Traction Kit?
The STK Skin Traction Kit is designed for use by doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals carrying out skin tractions on patients. The kit is available for both adults and children; your required option can be selected from the drop-down menu at the top of the page.
Does the Traction Kit Include Adhesive?
The Tensoplast STK Kit is available as both an adhesive and non-adhesive version. They offer the following benefits:
- Adhesive Version: This is a clear low-allergy and pressure-sensitive adhesive for firm fixation to the leg
- Non-Adhesive Version: The foam skin contact layer is designed for patients with sensitive skin
How Comfortable Are the Skin Traction Bandages?
The bandages feature padded foot plates and a breathable foam liner to help cushion bony prominences. The elastic bandage also reinforces retention, while aiding effective traction.
