Locking Straps for the EasySlide Sliding Aid

Users of the EasySlide Sliding Aid in Medium or Large will know how useful it is for moving and changing position of those with severely reduced functional abilities in bed. The Locking Straps have been designed to supplement the Sliding Aid by providing additional straps to move and navigate the device and facilitate the turning process, or to keep it in place when it is not required.

Reducing Risk of Pressure Sores

Those who are ill or possess low mobility and have to stay in bed for prolonged periods of time often run the risk of developing pressure sores by not being able to move or turn in bed by themselves. The EasySlide is very gentle for people in pain, reducing the friction underneath the user, and ensuring that turning is performed easily and painlessly for both user and carer.

Keeping Mats in Place

The Locking Straps have been designed to fasten the sliding mat to the bed in order to guarantee that it lies in the correct position when not in use. These additional straps can be purchased as a spare to keep on hand, or as a replacement accessory for previously used or worn-down Locking Straps.

Please be aware that the EasySlide Sliding Mat is not included with the Locking Straps and must be purchased separately.
