All SIBA Sliding Aids SIBA Sliding Aid Systems consist of specially designed bed sheets, bed overlays and top sheets which make it easier for patients to move in bed independently in bed, or for carers to assist them. The base sheet can be used on its own to create an easier surface for patients to adjust themselves on, for those who are predominantly mobile but find it a little difficult to move in bed. Alternatively for assisted repositioning, the base sheets provide a smooth surface for the top sheets to move over, reducing friction and providing leverage so patients can be easily shifted along the bed or turned over.
