A range of motion (ROM) knee brace is often prescribed following an injury or surgery to your knee. It allows your knee to heel without putting too much stress or strain to the area.
How Does the Genurange Lite ROM Knee Brace Work?
The Genurange Lite Brace works by giving support on either side of your knee joint and it also prevents your knee from bending beyond the set ranges. These ranges will be decided by your consultant and can be changed at intervals through your recovery as required.
When to Use a ROM Knee Brace
The Genurange Lite ROM Knee Brace is recommended for:
- Controlled rehabilitation of ACL/PCL/MCL and LCL injuries
- Post-operative immobilisation of the knee
- Unstable knees
- Mild/moderate collateral ligament injuries
- Mild instability of cruciate ligaments
- Treatments requiring flexion
- Treatments requiring extension
How Long Do I Have to Wear the Brace?
You should wear your Genurange Lite Brace for as long as directed by your consultant. It is advised to wear the brace directly next to your skin, with your clothes over the top of the brace in order to get the best fit and support.
