The padded cushion features a luxurious, velour top layer that softens the impact of movement, helping to stop the development of sores and pressure injuries. The long length of this OneWayGlide allows a patient to be repositioned several times in one application in order to find the desired position. This model also features handles that make it easier for carers to help the user and tie strings for securing it to a wheelchair.

What Does the OneWayGlide Positioning Aid Do?
The Immedia Glide Cushion allows easy sliding in one direction, whilst resisting sliding in the other direction. The user stays in a correct seating position and stops accidental movement. This reduces shear and friction, which can cause sores and pressure injuries. There is also a risk of this when a patient is being manually handled by a carer and the OneWayGlide helps to prevent that as well.

How Do I Use the OneWayGlide Cushion?
Using the Immedia OneWayGlide eases repositioning when the user slides forward in the wheelchair. To move backwards in the wheelchair, the user must lean forward, hold the armrest and push toward the backrest using their arms and legs. Once upright, the unique design of the cushion will prevent sliding again. Due to the length of this model, the patient will have more room to get into the desired position.
How Do the Tie Strings Help?
This model of the OneWayGlide comes with attached tie strings intended to secure it to a wheelchair. This offers an even higher level of safety and can offer reassurance when the user is alone.

Cleaning Instructions
- This sheet set can be wiped clean with a cloth
- Machine wash at a maximum temperature of 80°C
- Can be cleaned with a solvent-free cleaning agent with a pH level between 5–9, or with a 70% disinfectant solution
- Do not dry-clean or bleach this item
- Do not use fabric softener
- After each wash the pad should be checked for damage to seems or fabric
