This transfer cushion is designed to make it easy for those with limited mobility to enter and exit a vehicle. The swivel function makes it easier to slide and turn into the desired position, minimising strain and twisting of the feet, knees, hips and back. Perfect for those with sensitive joints.

How Does the Etac AutoTurn Transfer Device Work?

The AutoTurn can be fastened to the seat back and features two nylon sides which face each other in order to reduce friction during turning. The underside has a non-slip surface to ensure the device rests firmly on the car seat. If assistance is required, the functional handle can be used by a carer to pull the user into place on the seat.

How Do I Fit the Etac Immedia AutoTurn Cushion?

The Immedia Autoturn Swivel Cushion comes with a detailed user guide that you should read before using, but below is a simple set-up guide:

1. Position the device centrally on the car seat.
2. Fit the straps, fasten and tighten securely at the back of the seat.
3. Fit the functional locking system (next to the functional handle) to the safety belt.
4. When the user turns in the seat, the belt will automatically glide forward.
5. The safety belt can be secured on the opposite side using the functional locking system, as shown in the image below.

How Do I Use the Car Swivel Pillow?

The Immedia Autoturn Swivel Cushion comes with a detailed user guide that you should read before using, but below are some simple step by step on how to use it:

1. The user sits themselves in the centre of the AutoTurn
2. When the user turns in the seat, the belt will automatically glide slightly forward
3. The user then raises their legs and swings them into the car
4. If a carer is present, they can pull functional handle to to help user get into place
5. To exit vehicle, user swings legs out of car and raises themselves until standing
