Welch Allyn Green Series Wall Diagnostic Set with F.O. Otoscope and Coaxial Ophthalmoscope

The Welch Allyn Green Series Wall Diagnostic Set with F.O. Otoscope and Coaxial Ophthalmoscope is a combination wall-mounted set of an otoscope and an ophthalmoscope. This otoscope and ophthalmoscope set is highly energy-efficient and helps to reduce power consumption.

What Is Included with My Purchase?

Each purchase of the Welch Allyn Green Series Wall Diagnostic Set with F.O. Otoscope and Coaxial Ophthalmoscope includes the following:

  • 1 x Green series wall mount
  • 1 x Coaxial ophthalmoscope
  • 1 x Fibre optic otoscope

How Does This Diagnostic Equipment Reduce Power Consumption?

Welch Allyn Green Series products come with a variety of features to help minimise power consumption, an as a result costs for the user. For instance the handles will automatically turn off when not in use, greatly reducing accidental power wastage.

What Are the Benefits of This Wall Mount?

The Welch Allyn Green Series Wall Mount is a great energy efficient solution to powering your otoscope and ophthalmoscope. With no on/off switches, the instruments save time and power by automatically turning on or off when they are removed from and replaced into the wall mount.

How Does The Green Series Coaxial Ophthalmoscope Compare to Other Welch Allyn Models?

While this set offers excellent energy efficiency, the products involved are also drastically improved in operation. The patented Welch Allyn Coaxial Vision System enables easier entry into the eye, while reducing glare, and generates a larger field of view than competing ophthalmoscopes. The new halogen HPX lamp is 30% whiter and brighter than its predecessors, providing true tissue colour for long-term optimal performance.

How Versatile Is This Ophthalmoscope?

Since unique circumstances can arise during any inspection, this ophthalmoscope includes 18 independent aperture/filter combinations for unprecedented versatility. The red-free filter is suitable for use with any aperture, while the 28 focusing lenses feature an impressive range of -25 to +40 diopters. It is supplied with cross-linear, polarising, red-free and cobalt blue lenses to provide a wide scope of options.

Is This Ophthalmoscope Easier to Use Than Other Models?

In addition to better lighting, improved coaxial optics provide a shadow-free spot, easier entry into undilated pupils and a wider field of view than standard ophthalmoscopes. In addition to this, the cobalt blue filter facilitates the detection of corneal abrasions.

How Does The Green Series Diagnostic Otoscope Compare to Other Welch Allyn Models?

Like the ophthalmoscope, the otoscope includes a wider angle viewing lens than previous models, for a more complete view of the patient. This wide angle allows for the easy use of delicate instrumentation under magnification. The otoscope also includes a sealed system for pneumatic otoscopy and accurate diagnosis of otitis media.

How Bright is the Halogen HPX Lamp?

The halogen HPX lamp featured in this otoscope provides 30% more light output than competing models. This allows for true tissue colour during inspections that will last long for more accurate and complete diagnoses.

Fibre optics work to project cool light to the distal tip with no reflections that could possibly distort the view. This light also ensures that there are no obstructions, allowing for superior views of the tympanic membrane.
