How Does the Coral Aneroid Sphygmomanometer Work?
The Coral Aneroid Sphygmomanometer is designed with a combined bellows and gauge tube, which allows for easier operation with one hand. It also features a rotating head, making it ideal for both right-handed and left-handed practitioners, freeing your either hand for logging notes.
Like most standard sphygmomanometers, the bellows is squeezed to pump up the cuff, and then the dial will display the pressure. This can then be read with ease to obtain patient readings. To suit different preferences, it features both a trigger button and a screw valve pressure release.
Who Can Use the Coral Sphygmomanometer?
The Coral Sphygmomanometer is ideal for use by medical professionals, particularly for on-call doctors or medical professionals travelling between clinics. The push-on tube connection also means that no adaptor is required, making it ideal for use on the move. With a rotating head, it can be used by both right-handed and left-handed medical professionals.
How Easy Is the Dial to Read?
The Coral Sphygmomanometer is designed with a dial that is 59.9mm in diameter. This helps to ensure that you can easily read the pressure values while also guaranteeing that your recorded blood pressure numbers are as accurate as possible.
Is a Blood Pressure Cuff Provided?
The Coral Sphygmomanometer is supplied with a standard calibrated cuff for adults. This means it can be used with the majority of your patients without requiring any additional accessories.
How Robust Is the Coral Sphygmomanometer?
The Timesco Coral Sphygmomanometer is especially robust, as it features a rubberised shock-proof ring to help protect it against occasional knocks. The strong nickel-plated metal casing also helps to improve longevity, both during frequent use in busy medical environments and while on the move.
