Patient Head Support Sling
The Patient Head Support Sling is an accessory that is placed around the head and then connected to the sling bar hooks of a patient lift to provide extra support for the head when using a sling that does not have a head support. The Head Support has three alternative loops on either side to enable choice of the most appropriate length, and is compatible to use with most models of SystemRoMedic lifts and lifting slings.
How to Place the Head Support
Positioning the Head Support is fairly easy and straight-forward. After positioning them in their body sling, place the Head Support behind the user's head, and select the desired length by hooking one of three loops from each side.
The choice of loop is a question of comfort and preference. The sling must not fit too tightly, however it should provide adequate stability for the head so that the neck is not strained, and does not have to work too hard.
Compatible with Many Slings
If you are dealing with a few different patients at once, sometimes it is better to buy one general-purpose sling in order to cater to all of their needs. However, each user will have their individual sets of requirements, and will require more support than others.

Care Instructions
The Head Support is available in one size and can handle weights of up to 300kg. It is easily cleaned, being able to withstand laundering temperatures of up to 85°C. To prolong the life of the sling, avoid tumble-drying.
