Shell High Back Patient Lifting Sling

The uniquely designed Shell High Back Patient Lifting Sling is used in most common lifting situations, such as sitting transfers between bed and wheelchair, and can also be used for lifting from a recumbent position on the floor. The sling is quick and easy for the caregiver to apply, and the adjustable head support gives each patient perfect support for the head during transfers.

Features of the Shell High Back Sling

  • Seven different sizes for an individualised fit
  • Unique bowl shape and divided leg supports for comfort
  • Adjustable head support for the perfect fit
  • Easy for the caregiver to apply and remove
  • High back; the user is supported from the tailbone and up over the head
  • Upright seated posture can be regulated via two alternative lift loops at the back and on the leg supports
  • Pocket at lower edge for easier application

Concave Design

The Shell High Back Sling is a functional and comfortable lifting tool designed for common seated transfers from bed to wheelchair, chair to wheelchair, or wheelchair to toilet. The unique concave shape of the sling follows the angles of the body and enables an upright seated posture that is easily regulated with the help of alternative lift loops.

Adjustable Head Support

The sling features separated leg sections, and has a high back that supports the patient from the under legs and up over the head, giving them a full sense of security and comfort. The adjustable head rest gives each user perfect support for the head.

Sizing of the Shell High Back Patient Sling
