Is This Oximeter Effective In Difficult Conditions?

The accuracy of this oximeter is not influenced by either motion or low perfusion. This means that it is ideal for use in busy clinical environments, where patients and conditions cannot be guaranteed to be perfect.

What Are the Adjustable Alarms?

The Nonin 9600 Avant Digital Pulse Oximeter comes with five alarm settings that allow you to adjust the device to best suit your preferences. These include:

  • Latched mode – provides audible and visual indication of an alarm even after an event has ended
  • Unlatched mode – audible and visual indication of an alarm state concludes when an event has ended
  • Nurse call – facility's call indicator light system connects via cable connection, providing additional visual indication of alarms from a distance
  • Recall function – reinstatement of user's last customised alarm settings, providing parameter continuity and time savings
  • Patient security mode – locks alarm limits, volume and time/date settings, prevents unintentional changes and provides automatic recall of locked limits

Which Patients Is the Nonin 9600 Appropriate For?

This pulse oximeter is suitable for use with the majority of patients. It has the same accuracy with adult and paediatric patients and only slightly worse accuracy in the case of neonatal patients.

Is This a User-Friendly Device?

This Nonin Avant Monitor has been equipped with a user friendly interface so there is nothing to stand between you and excellent diagnostics. It includes a colour coded pulse bar graph and pulse quality indicator, as well as an audible tone which responds to each pulse beat. It also comes complete with a sensor indicator which responds to a lack of pressure from the finger clip so that you can achieve the most accurate diagnostics possible. 

What Is PureSAT SpO2 Technology?

Nonin PureSAT technology features an excellent rate of artifact rejection alongside improved pulse detection. This allows it to achieve faster, more precise readings than other devices.

Does This Device Come with a Printer?

The Nonin 9600 Avant Digital Pulse Oximeter does not come with a printer by default. Fortunately, however, Nonin manufacture a bespoke mini-printer for use with this device, the Printer for Nonin Avant Monitors. This compact device allows you to keep an immediate physical record of results for your, or your patient's, records.

What If I'm Looking for Additional Protection?

The last thing you want to happen to expensive, high-quality equipment like this monitor is for it to become damaged.
