How Do I Wear the Lancaster Arm Sling?

1. Place your arm in the sling and ensure the elbow is held securely in place.
2. Close the sling by attaching the closure strap just below the elbow crease.
3. Attach the D ring strap mid way between the wrist and the elbow ensuring that the D ring is positioned correctly.
4. Bring the shoulder strap attached to the sling at the elbow across your back.
5. Place the strap over the shoulder opposite to the injured arm.
6. Thread the shoulder strap through the D ring on the mid strap, uppermost on the arm, and attach the strap securely with the hook and loop fastenings.
7. Then take the loose immobiliser strap and attach it to the front of the sling at the elbow.
8. Bring the immobiliser strap around the back of the waist and thread the immobiliser strap through the D ring on the inside of the sling.
9. Fasten this strap securely with the hook and loop fastenings to immobilise the shoulder.

Washing The Lancaster Shoulder Immobiliser Arm Sling

• The Lancaster Shoulder Immobiliser Arm Sling can be machine washed up to 40°C or hand washed with mild detergent.
• The Lancaster Shoulder Immobiliser Sling is only suitable for air drying.
• Do not tumble dry or iron the Lancaster Shoulder Immobiliser Arm Sling.
