FootStool Patient Transferring Aid

The FootStool Patient Transferring Aid is used to raise the position of the user's knees to enable easier and safer transfer in a seated position. It also provides excellent support under the feet during visits to the toilet, or when repositioning further back into a chair or wheelchair. The FootStool is available in two different height variations: 5cm (2") and 10cm (4").

• Surface is easy to clean with a soap or alcohol solution
• Indentation in the rear edge facilitates close positioning to the toilet
• The FootStool is made of a sturdy plastic material which doesn't slide on the underlying surface
• Indentation in the front edge makes it possible for the carer to stand as close as possible

Effortless Patient Transfer

An indentation in the front edge of the FootStool enables the carer to stand as close as possible, and in turn provides a better posture. Alternatively, to facilitate independent sitting transfer from a wheelchair, the FootStool Patient Aid is often used in conjunction with the EasyGlide Plastic Transfer Board.

Care Instructions for the FootStool Patient Aid

The surface of the FootStool Patient Transferring Aid  can be cleaned with a soap and water solution or alternatively with disinfectant 70% ethanol or 45% isopropanol.
