Flexyfoot Shock Absorbing Crutch Ferrule Most standard crutches feature basic ferrules that do not provide enough grip or support for people that want to keep moving throughout their recovery. Designed for use on rougher terrain, the Flexyfoot Shock Absorbing Crutch Ferrule provides you with better tread, shock-absorption and grip to deliver a level of stability and comfort that most crutches fail to provide.

Keys Features and Benefits Compatible with most standard crutches Absorbs shock to relief stress on the body Adds grip for use on rough or uneven terrains Enhances comfort and stability Quick and easy to fit onto your crutch Why Use a Flexyfoot Shock-Absorbing Ferrule? Whilst necessary, using a cane or walking stick can cause a number of adverse conditions, including upper body pain, pain in the arm and postural issues. A Flexyfoot Ferrule is designed to absorb light shocks and bumps that the ferrule on a standard cane or stick will not.
This is perfect for users lacking confidence when using a stick or those wanting to make their current cane a little more robust over stubborn, difficult terrains.
How Does the Flexyfoot Ferrule Absorb Shock? Most ferrules (the base on the bottom of sticks and other walking aids) do not absorb the shock generated by the walking aid when it hits the ground, and the resultant force can then travel up the body and cause discomfort. The Flexyfoot Ferrule is unique in this respect, as it features flexible bellows that absorb impact force, helping to relieve strain on the body.
How Much Grip Does the Flexyfoot Ferrule Provide? Due to the flexible bellows of the Flexyfoot Ferrule, the bottom of the cap remains in contact with the ground at all times, providing double the grip of standard rubber ferrules. As a result, it can be used to walk over many different types of terrain, offering you greater freedom of movement.
