What Is the Pulse Oximeter For?

With an oximeter, you are able to gather data about the level of blood-oxygen saturation (SpO2) and the pulse rate of a patient in a non-invasive manner. With these measurements, it is possible to evaluate how well blood is being transported around the patient's body.

This model of oximeter is designed to be easily clipped onto a patient's finger to take measurements.
