How Do I Use the Cuff?
To use the cuff, follow these four simple steps:
Step One: Prepare the Cooler
Before using the cuff, you must prepare the cooler by filling water to the line and topping with ice. Connect the blue tube to the cooler and place the insulation disk on top of the ice before closing the lid. Wait for approximately five minutes for the water to chill, shaking the cooler occasionally.
Step Two: Apply the Cuff
Position the cuff with the quick disconnect valve facing down and secure using the straps provided (see figure 1).
Insert arm and slide the cuff over the elbow into place (see figure 2).
Step Three: Fill the Cuff
Connect the blue tube with the cooler. If using the Standard Cold Therapy Cooler, open the air vent and raise the cooler about thirty-eight centimetres above the cuff (see figure 3).
Hold for approximately thirty seconds until the cuff is full and close the cooler air vent. Using the metal tab, disconnect the cooler from the cuff to enable uninterrupted treatment.
Step Four: Rechill Water
Reconnect the blue tube with the cuff, raising the cuff above the cooler to allow it to drain. Allow up to two minutes for the water to chill. Raise the cooler and repeat treatment.

How Long Can I Use the Cryo/Cuff for With Each Treatment?
You can use the cuff for up to two hours per therapy session. It is recommended that you give a period of at least twenty minutes between each session.
Should I Cover My Skin While Using the Cryo/Cuff?
Yes, you must wrap the skin with a cloth, bandage or something similar before using the cuff. At no point during treatment should the skin and cuff be in direct contact. This is to avoid risk of injuries such as skin burn while using the cuff.
