What Does a ROM Knee Brace Do?
In some cases, it is advised to support and restrict knee movement in order to ensure proper recovery. A ROM brace is often recommended in such cases. It has a metal hinge in the middle of the brace which can be locked to stop some bending and/or straightening of your knee depending on your injury.

How Should a Knee Brace Fit?
Knee braces should be tight but not uncomfortable. You can check if your knee brace fits correctly using the 'two-finger rule'. Put the knee brace on, tighten the straps around the knee, and see if you can fit two fingers underneath. If you can do so with excess room, then the brace is too loose and vice versa.
