Zoll CPR-D Training Padz for Zoll AED Plus Trainer II
The Zoll CPR-D Training Padz for Zoll AED Plus Trainer II are for use with the unique Zoll Training system, which allows users to simulate electrode application and hand placement for CPR. When used for CPR manikin practice, the Zoll AED Plus Trainer II and CPR-D Training Padz help train users to perform CPR with the correct compression depth and rate.
Please note that these CPR-D Training Pads are spare or replacement pads only. The Zoll AED Plus Trainer II must be purchased separately.
Sudden Cardiac Arrest Information
The heart has its own electrical system that controls the rhythm of your heartbeat. Defects within the electrical system can cause abnormal rhythms, commonly known as arrhythmias. Arrhythmias cause the heart to beat irregularly or sometimes stop altogether, the most common of which is ventricular fibrillation (VF).
Sudden Cardiac Arrest occurs when the electrical system of the heart stops working effectively – the heart will unexpectedly stop pumping, when this occurs, blood stops flowing to the heart, brain and other vital organs and within seconds, the victim collapses and becomes completely unresponsive. Death will occur if not treated within the first few minutes.
