If a medicine cabinet is being used in a dangerous environment such as a prison, it's vital that personnel can have a clear and immediate alert when the door is opened. The Warning Light and Nurse Call Output for Sunflower Medical Medicine Cabinets is an optional factory-fitted accessory for Sunflower Medical Medicine Cabinets, providing a visual and remote alert if the cabinet is opened. It must be ordered alongside the cabinet.

Please note: this accessory adds an additional 55mm to the height of medicine cabinets without warning lights.

Extra Security

With the warning light fitted, the medicine cabinet will display a red light and send out a signal to nurse call systems when the door is opened. When the door is left open for 2.5 minutes, the red light will flash.

This requires hard-wiring to a 220/240V AC mains supply.
