Medical-Grade Nebuliser Tube and Mask Set
The Timesco Nebuliser Set consists of a single-use medical-grade PVC mask, tubing, and 6ml medication chamber to fit children only. The set is designed for use with a nebuliser machine in order to function as a respiratory aid for patients who need it. This set is also available for adults.
When Would a Nebuliser Be Used?
A nebuliser is used by patients with asthma or other respiratory conditions to be able to inhale medication quickly and directly into the lungs in order to clear the airways or treat infections. In the event of an emergency, should a patient be struggling to breathe and require a high dose of their reliver medicine, paramedics or hospital staff can administer reliever medicine through a nebuliser.
Please Note: A nebuliser should only be used at home if it has been prescribed by a healthcare professional.
How Does a Nebuliser Machine Work?
A nebuliser machine will work by changing liquid medicine into a fine mist for quick inhalation. The user sits with the machine and breathes in the medicine mist for an amount of time through a connected mask and tube like the ones in this set.
