How Do I Clean This Manikin?
The only parts of this kit that needs scrupulous cleaning and disinfecting are the airway cut-off valve and the mouth/nose pieces. For clean and hygienic training every time:
- Clean using a mild soap and warm water
- Rinse thoroughly in clean water
- Soak for 10 minutes in fresh hypochlorite solution of 1 part household bleach to 10 parts water
Please note that, you can wash the lower airway tubing and valve before they are thrown away at the end of the training.
