The Rolyan Sof Stretch Short Finger Extension Splint holds the Proximal Interphalangeal (PIP) joint into extension while allowing for bending exercises of the metacarpophalangeal (MCP). Its simplistic design is intuitive, comfortable and highly effective in supporting you on your finger rehabilitation journey following injury or general weakness.

The Rolyan Sof Stretch Short Finger Extension Splint is available in five sizes. To determine the correct size for you, please measure the length of the finger that you want to use the splint on from the joint nearest your fingertip to the joint at the base of your hand (see below for example). Once you have this measurement, match your result to the table below to find your perfect size.

When to Use a Finger Splint

This splint enforces full extension for the Proximal Interphalangeal (PIP) and Distal Interphalangeal (DIP) joints. This is helpful for a number of issues:

The Rolyan Sof Stretch Short Finger Extension Splint has an angled distal pad, which reduces pressure by providing complete surface contact on the middle phalanx. It is easy to use, featuring a "P" on the proximal pad to remind the patient to apply the splint with the "P" near the palm.
