It has a foam block which provides for safe and easy disposal of sharps, such as hypodermic needles.

The Foam Block Needle Counter features adhesive tabs which can be used to secure the counter to any work space. The counter itself separates in half for dual usage in different areas. The Medline Foam Block Needle Counter is a sterile product and is available for purchase in 10 and 20 count versions, which use magnetic and adhesive fixation respectively.
