What Size Medi Shoe Do I Need?

As this shoe is designed to accommodate swelling and bandages, we recommend measuring your injured foot at its widest point while wearing the bandages you intend to wear with the shoe. Ensure that the maximum width of your swollen/bandaged foot is smaller than the width of the Medi Shoe size you select.

The Post-Operative Medi Shoe is available in five different sizes. We've measured the inner insole bed to give you the most accurate sizing information possible.

What If I Fall Between Sizes?

If you fall between sizes, we would recommend selecting the larger of the two sizes. This guarantees your foot will fit inside the foot bed and eliminates the risk of tightness and rubbing.

How Tight Should I Fit the Medi Shoe?

While gentle compression can help reduce swelling - it's important not to tighten the Medi Shoe fastening straps too much as this can reduce circulation and lead to further complications. If you begin to feel any numbness or tingling it's recommended that you loosen the straps immediately. 

Will This Wound Shoe Fit My Dressing?

Yes, thanks to long straps and the hook and loop closures, this Post-Operative Shoe is highly adjustable. This means it can easily accommodate all types of dressings and bandages.
