With the 15-Lead ECG Placement Trainer students and trainees can learn how to place electrodes on the adult trainer using anatomical landmarks, including intercostal spaces, midclavicular line, anterior axillary line, midaxillary line, and scapula.

What is ECG?

ECG is an abbreviation of the word electrocardiogram, which is a simple test that is conducted to check the heart rhythm and electrical activity of a patient. The Life/Form15-Lead ECG Placement Trainer has been designed for high-quality realistic training in order to best prepare medical students for real-life patient electrocardiograms.

Four Connection Sites

The Life/Form 15-Lead ECG Placement trainer features connection sites for four limb (RA, LA, RL and LL) leads and V1 through V9, with the ability to attach right- or left-sided electrodes. The trainer does not provide ECG output signals, but simulations of rhythms and hands-free defibrillation can be performed by adding any ECG arrhythmia simulator directly to your ECG monitor.  

Are the Electrodes Included with this Trainer Reusable?

Yes, the electrodes included with this trainer may be reused. This feature makes the trainer excellent for multiple group training sessions.
