Jamar Pinch Gauge

Designed to give precise readings of isometric tip, key and palmar pinch strength, the Jamar Pinch Gauge is extremely popular with medical professionals everywhere. It measures in pounds as well as kilograms, and has a red pointer that will stay on the maximum reading during a test to ensure completely accurate results.    

Perform Basic Pinch Tests

You can use the Jamar Pinch Gauge to perform three basic pinch tests:

• Tip Pinch or Thumb-Index Pulp Pinch – thumb tip to index fingertip
• Key Pinch or Lateral Pinch – thumb pad to lateral aspect of middle phalanx of index finger
• Palmar Pinch or Chuck Pinch – thumb pad to pads of the index and middle fingers

Delivery Expectations

The Jamar Pinch Gauge is usually delivered by 24 hour courier. For orders that are placed before 2pm Monday to Friday, your order should usually be dispatched the same day for next working day delivery.
