Fall Savers Wireless Motion-Sensor Monitor

Easy and simple to use, the Fall Savers Wireless Motion-Sensor Monitor can be connected to a bed or chair fall pad, alerting care givers of any movement in a timely manner that significantly reduces the risk of falls and wanderings. It works perfectly with a mat alone and can also be connected with a nurse call system, making it handy for care homes, hospitals, and residential homes. You can even use it with up to two sensor pads or other wireless devices at the same time for a complete system.

What's Included?

  • 1 x Fall Savers Wireless Monitor

Who Is the Fall Savers Wireless Monitor For?

The Fall Savers Wireless Monitor will alert carers as soon as a patient steps on to a connected bed, chair or floor sensor pad. Since it can be used with both wired and wireless fall sensor pads, it is an ideal option for care teams looking to upgrade their fall prevention strategy with wireless products to increase durability and eliminate potential hazards. We would recommend the wireless monitor in situations for patients with:

  • Low levels of mobility
  • Dementia
  • Other health conditions
  • A significant risk of injury

How Do I Use a Treadnought Mat Wirelessly?

Up to two Treadnought Mats can at once be easily connected to eliminate tripping hazards and make your fall prevention system more user-friendly. To use the system wirelessly, you will need the following components.

How Can the Fall Savers Wireless Monitor Reduce Injury Risk?

The Fall Savers Monitor can reduce injury risk by alerting nearby caregivers when a vulnerable person has fallen out of their bed or chair, or if they wander across a floor mat. This ensures that caregivers can arrive at the patient's room as soon as a fall or unwanted wandering has occurred, potentially providing immediate care or preventing the patient from wandering off if they suffer from dementia.

How Does the Wireless Monitor Reduce Work for Care Staff?

By providing the option to eliminate the cables between the monitor and sensor pads, this monitor has several advantages for care staff over conventional systems:

  • Reduces the need for multiple monitors, as one monitor can connect to two sensors
  • Reduces upkeep as wires will not wear and sensor can not be pulled onto the floor
  • Reduces care time to eliminate the tripping hazards caused by wires
  • Personalised voice alert feature allows patients to be calmed remotely by family or carers

How Do You Use the Fall Savers Monitor?

The Fall Savers Monitor is easy to use, and once connected to a wired or wireless bed, chair or fall pad, will trigger an alert should any pressure be detected. It can be used with a mat on its own or with a nurse call system, meaning that it is useful for a wider range of places such as care homes, hospitals and residential homes. To provide a comprehensive system, the monitor can be used with up to two sensor pads or other wireless devices simultaneously.

How Many Sensor Mats Can I Connect?

This monitor can be connected to up to two fall sensor pads at once. Unlike previous models, this sensor includes two wired inputs to allow connection of two wired sensor mats at once, providing the capability to connect multiple mats regardless of whether you are using a wired or wireless system.

What Devices Can the Wireless Monitor Be Used With?

The Wireless Monitor can be connected to two wired or wireless sensors simultaneously. The compatible sensors include:

How Do You Know When You're on Low Battery?

If you opt to use batteries with your unit, then the batteries at some point will run out. This shouldn't be a problem as 9V batteries can last for a significant amount of time before starting to run out of power. However, when it does start to run out of power, there will be a flashing warning light that will illuminate to ensure that your patient isn't left without their bedside monitor.
