What Does This Erler-Zimmer Heart Model Demonstrate?

The Erler-Zimmer Heart Model is made of two parts to demonstrate the entire structure of the heart. All important structures of the heart are presented including ventricles, atriums, aortic, mitral, pulmonary, and tricuspid valves. Heart muscle, fatty tissue and arteries are all painted in great detail, and the conducting system is marked in colour.

Removable Front Heart Wall

For students to gain an in-depth view of the internal structures of the heart, the front heart wall of the Erler-Zimmer Heart Model can be removed. Half the model can be left on the stand for display, or the entire model can be removed from the stand for study.

Includes Conducting System

What sets the Erler-Zimmer Heart Model apart is that it also features the conducting system of the heart. Marked in colour for emphasis, this model demonstrates the network of nodes (groups of cells that can either be nerve or muscle tissue), specialised cells and electrical signals that keep the heart beating.
