The Erler-Zimmer Breast Phantom Simulator allows medical students to identify breast cysts and lumps using real ultra-sound equipment. The left breast of this model permits identification of cysts versus dense masses, whilst the right breast allows for identification of cysts of different sizes and depths.

How Many Cysts Does This Breast Model Include and Where Are They Located?

The left breast of this model contains six dense masses and three cysts randomly oriented. Whilst the right breast of this model contains 10 cysts of different sizes and depths.

How Realistic Is This Model?

Designed for the most realistic of training, the Erler-Zimmer Breast Phantom Simulator features life-like skin with a realistic texture and look, and even self-heals to allow for repeated use of this simulator. The model can also be used with real ultrasound equipment (not included) to prepare students for ultrasounds with real life patients.
