Easy Press Jelly Switch with Transmitter for MPPL Pagers

The Easy Press Jelly Switch with Transmitter for MPPL Pagers is designed to allow disabled, elderly and vulnerable people to alert a loved one or carer should they need assistance. Supplied with a transmitter that can be connected to an MPPL Pager, the Easy Press Switch is ideal for giving carers and loved ones peace of mind through the night.

What's in the Box?

  • 1 x Easy Press Jelly Switch
  • 1 x Panic Alarm Transmitter for MPPL Alarms

How Does the Easy Press Jelly Switch Work?

The Easy Press Jelly Switch is easy to set up and can be used all around your home or care home. It simply plugs into the transmitter using the connection lead and jack plug, all included. The transmitter is then able to signal your existing MPPL Pager if the jelly switch is pressed.

The switch can be pressed very easily, only requiring a minimal amount of pressure, making it perfect for use by those who may struggle with a more fiddly call alarm pendant or switch. The Easy Jelly Switch is part of the Epilepsy Alarm System, and you can find out more about this by clicking on the tab at the top of the page.

Features of the Easy Press Jelly Switch for MPPL Pagers

The Easy Press Jelly Switch is designed for those who struggle with a conventional help switch. The button has a large activation area of 65mm and needs only a little pressure to activate it, making it ideal for those with poor dexterity or a physical disability.

The switch is also designed for those with learning disabilities, cognitive problems or dementia. This is due to the way the clear plastic top can be unscrewed and an image or message can be inserted. The visual prompts help to remind the user of what the alarm is used for.

Will the Easy Press Jelly Switch Work in My House?

For certain properties, such as older houses with thicker walls, you may find that the range of your MPPL device is reduced. To counter this, we recommend using the MPPL Pager Alarms Signal Repeater and Booster, which can be used to expand the operating range of your product.

Additional Kits

Both the pendants and the transmitters can be purchased separately if additional ones are required. All components are available in the Easy Press Jelly Switch and Alarm Kit.

Understanding the MPPL Epilepsy Alarm System

The MPPL Epilepsy Alarm System is a series of pagers, monitors, sensors, transmitters and full kits that enable you to monitor people while they are asleep. It is designed for those with epilepsy, dementia and other similar diseases. Unfortunately, it can be quite difficult to get your head around, so we've created this guide for understanding your way around the MPPL System.

What Do I Need to Know Before Purchase?

The Epilepsy Alarm System features three different kinds of products. These are MPPL Pagers, Transmitters, and finally the group Switches, Buttons, Sensors and Detectors. The system works in the following way:

A sleeping person has a seizure and triggers a sensor, followed by the sensor triggering the transmitter. The transmitter sends an alert to the pager which sounds an alarm which alerts a carer or loved one.

How the MPPL Alarm System Works

Key Rules Before Purchase

  1. Your Epilepsy Alarm System must include an MPPL Pager, a Sensor and and a Transmitter to work.
  2. Before ordering a sensor on its own, please check whether it includes a Transmitter and MPPL Pager.
  3. Some of our switches, buttons, sensors and detectors are supplied with either an MPPL Pager, a transmitter, or nothing at all, so it's important to check first.
  4. If you are just after a spare part, then you don't need to worry about purchasing all three types of product again.
  5. All of our Full Kits are supplied with a Sensor, Transmitter and Pager.
