How To Measure with the Drive Blood Glucose Monitor

Blood sugar levels can be measured near-instantly after turning on the monitor. Once a test strip has been inserted into the monitor, and a lancet has been inserted into the lancing device, adjust the depth dial to the desired length, aim towards the finger, and press down the trigger button. The sample of blood can then be added to the testing strip, and the monitor should read a result in seconds.

Why Do Blood Glucose Levels Need to be Measured?

Measuring blood glucose is one way people with diabetes can learn more about their condition. Being able to have a record of glucose levels can help the user and their doctor make important decisions about medication, diet, and exercise. An added benefit of the Drive BG-208 Glucose Monitor is that it can store up to 360 readings, allowing the the user to keep track of their health and make those important decisions mentioned.

What Levels Should Blood Glucose Levels Be At?

This information can be obtained from the user's doctor. They'll help the user figure out strategies to manage their blood glucose levels, and inform on what levels should be aimed for based on age, type of diabetes, overall health, and several other factors. Whatever range is advised, it's important that the user keeps to levels within that, and by using the Drive BG-208 it will help the user monitor that range.
