Excellent support waistband

This support waistband is comfortable enough wear all day, but also gives confidence to do everyday activities like lawn mowing, shopping and housework. The silicone bubbles provide grip to help prevent the waistband slipping off and give a reassuring feel. Excellent product!

Hydrotherapy/Swimming

As a recent stoma and major cancer surgery patient, I wanted something to aid hydrotherapy and also swimming recovery programmes. Having purchased the Comfizz Stoma Waistband, I have the conficence to undergo the hydro/physiotherapy as it securely keeps the stoma bag in place. I can also see it as a confidence booster if going out all day, when you need additional security for your stoma bag. Highly recommend for others in my situation. Will probably purchase another to add to my wardrobe....

Not enough silicone to keep in place

The material is lovely. The fit when it 1st goes on is comfortable. The only problem is the silicone on the band to help stop rolling doesn't go all the way around so within minutes of putting it on it wrinkles and rolls and becomes uncomfortable and unfit for purpose. I've tried various sizes, differing support and none of them stays in place. Wasted my money. Needed it for tummy support with a colostomy.

Causes Pancaking

Whist this waistband seemingly looks the part one has to be mindful of the COMPRESSING effect it has on the stoma bag. By preventing the natural flow of the stoma output into the bag the waste is pressed into the surrounding adhesive and eventually breaks down this barrier and causes leakage. This happened TWICE to me recently within an hour having changed bags with my emergency supply on a train only to find an hour later in a taxi that this second one was also discharging. Coupled with very warm weather I would urge great caution when using as the natural perspiration of the body contributes to this unfortunate predicament and having this waistband on during hot weather is not advisable.

This belt is so comfy! It does not ride up or. down so your not adjusting all the time. It has a nice amount of support without squashing you.. postage was super quick as it arrived the next day.
