The Xenon Laryngoscope Handle is designed for use by trained medical professionals during laryngoscope procedures. The handle is suitable for use with ISO 7376 green-fitting reusable and disposable laryngoscope blades.
How Hygienic Is the Xenon Handle?
The metal Xenon Larygoscope Handle is fully autoclavable (excluding the battery). This allows it to be thoroughly cleaned in between use, reducing risks of cross contamination between patients.
How Powerful Is the LED Bulb?
The Timesco Xenon Handle is fitted with a powerful 2.5v bulb for excellent illumination. This provides a lux output of 18,000 at the bulb, with a consistent colour temperature of 2900(k). The metal collar is polished to reflect the light towards the fibre core of a blade, which helps to offer maximum illumination.
The battery is designed to last for around 20 hours of use. This can then be powered by more dry cell batteries or transformed into a rechargeable handle as required.
How Comfortable Is the Xenon Handle?
It's important that you can hold onto the Xenon Handle comfortably during examinations, and the knurled handle design offers excellent grip.
Which Blades Can I Use with the Xenon Handle?
As the Xenon is not provided with any blades, you are able to use any blade that meets your requirements, as long as it features a green-fitting design conforming to ISO 7376. This allows you to change the blade type you require in between use, increasing the versatility of the Xenon for a range of different patient needs.
