The Smart Mum Basic Birthing Trainer is an obstetrical trainer that focuses on a range of irregularities that may occur during the birthing process, including shoulder dystocia and postpartum hemorrhage (PPH). Both leadership and knowledge can be tested due to the extensive fetal heart rate (FHR) as a number of scenarios could play out.

The handheld iPad unit monitors and controls a number of different elements, including the birthing position and descent speed of the fetus. Pulse points, blood pressure, heart and lung sounds are only a few of the conditions that can be monitored for full, extensive training.
