The Satin SIBA Four-Way Top Draw Sheet Sliding Aid with Handles (200cm x 200cm) is a large draw sheet designed to aid patients who are unable to move by themselves in bed. With an extended length and handles, the sheet can be attached to a mobile hoist for more regular repositioning and will span from the head to the toe of most individuals.

Please note the Top Draw Sheet must be used with a SIBA Satin Base Sheet.

How Can Carers Use the Top Draw Sheet?

The Top Draw Sheet is designed to slide over the smooth surface of the SIBA Base Sheet so carers can shift patients in bed. It can either be manipulated by hand, or attached to a mobile hoist via it handles for more regular positioning or more strenuous manoeuvres.

Does This Draw Sheet Aid Movement In All Directions?

Yes, when placed on top of a SIBA satin base sheet, this draw sheet allows patients to be moved in all four directions as indicated by its white checked markings. They can therefore be turned from side to side, pulled downwards or upwards, and repositioned widthways on the bed. Due to its extended width and length, it ensures patients can be turned comfortably and smoothly and that their head and neck will be well supported during manoeuvres.
