How Does the Rotunda Knee Support Work?

The Rotunda Knee Support is used as extra leverage to make it easier for patients with weak knees to stand up. During the transfer, the patient can press their legs up against the anatomically moulded support to help raise themselves up from a seated position. This helps take pressure off the knees, which makes the transfer process easier and safer for infirm patients.

How Easy Are the Supports to Fit?

If you already own a Rotunda Transfer Platform and wish to enhance its efficacy with the knee supports, then it is straightforward to attach to the Rotunda. For initial fitting and any subsequent adjustments, simply loosen and tighten the wing nuts at the back. You won't need to use any tools as this can easily be done by hand.
