While most GP surgeries will have two scales – one for babies and one for adults (and possibly also a bariatric scale) – the M-700 means that they only need one. A 150kg capacity makes it suitable for just about everyone, making it perfect for a smaller surgery or clinic.
For babies, a baby bowl is included that will weigh babies to an accuracy of 20g, and for older children and adults the platform will weigh to an accuracy of 50g. A chair is included for toddlers, and for those unsteady on their feet the scale features integral handrails as well as a non-slip surface.
Easy to Control
To help medical practitioners take accurate and clear readings, the scale is incredibly easy to use and control. Two displays on the indicator show weight, height and BMI, To enable the scale to automatically calculate BMI, it features a full-size keypad to make it easy to enter height manually.
A tare option enables the user to easily account for blankets, swaddling or any other additional weight to ensure readings are as accurate as possible. What's more, the scale also features a pre-set tare option to automatically account for additional weight – ideal for more quickly taking readings while ensuring accuracy.
The scale even includes a built-in rechargeable battery, meaning it can easily be used anywhere throughout the facility regardless of mains power availability.
