What Does this Pressure Relieving Mattress Do?

The Parafricta Double Sheet can be used for skin protection or to aid mobility in bed. This product features a low-friction fabric centre to prevent pressure sores, as well as a high-quality cotton rim that can be used for tucking in and repositioning using the heels. This product is suitable for use with double, queen and king-size beds.

Who Can Use the Parafricta Pressure Relief Double Flat Bedsheet?

This product is beneficial for individuals with fragile skin or mobility-limiting conditions, such as Parkinson's Disease and Multiple Sclerosis (MS), who tend to move around while sleeping. The bedsheet enables them to reposition themselves whilst reducing the risk of skin breakdown and pressure sores caused by friction.

How Do I Use the Pressure Sore Double Sheet?

It's importnt to ensure that the centre panel is located under the user's trunk. The heel should rest on the panel if being used for skin protection, or on the polycotton rim if being used to aid self-repositioning. This is shown in the image below.

How Do I Clean the Parafricta Double Bedsheet?

Parafricta sheets should be washed in a hot (60°C) synthetics cycle in a domestic washing machine, or on a 95°C cycle if maximum sanitisation is required. In a professional laundry the sheets may be washed on a cycle that includes 70°C for up to 10 minutes, or a 90°C cycle if maximum sanitisation is required.
