Who Can Use the AutoTurn 45 Positioning Aid?

The AutoTurn 45 is specially developed for use with car seats to make it easy to enter and exit a vehicle. This product is ideal for users with limited mobility, as well as to prevent further damage or pain in the lower body. This includes the feet, knees, hips and back.

How Does the Etac Immedia Car Device Work?

The two nylon sides facing each other reduce friction while turning. The underside of the AutoTurn pillow has a non-slip surface to ensure the device rests firmly on the car seat. It also features a functional handle which a carer can use to pull the user into place on the car seat.

How Do I Position the Immedia Pillow in the Car?

To discover how best to apply this device, follow the instructions below.

1. Position the AutoTurn 45 centrally on the car seat.
2. Fit the straps, fasten, and tighten securely at the seat back.
3. Fit the functional locking system (next to the functional handle) to the safety belt.
4. When the user turns in the seat, the belt will automatically glide slightly forward.

How Do I Use the Etac Positioning Aid?

1. Firstly, the user should seat themselves on the centre of the AutoTurn.
2. The user then raises either both legs simultaneously, or one leg at a time inside the vehicle, thus turning the body inside the car.
3. The carer can pull on the functional handle to help the user guide into place.
4. To exit the car, the users swings their legs out of the vehicle, preferably in stages, before raising themselves to a standing position.

Cleaning Instructions

This product can be cleaned with a solvent-free cleaning agent with a pH level between 5 and 9, or a 70% disinfection solution. Do not use fabric softener.
