Can I Trim the Casting Tape?
The Soft Casting Tape is designed to be trimmed to the lenght required. As it is provided in a 3.6 metre roll, you can cut off the right amount of tape required, reducing any wastage, and improving patient comfort.
Is This Radiolucent Casting Tape?
Yes, the Delta-Cast Soft Tape is 100% radiolucent. It allows for clear x-ray images for diagnosis and monitoring.
How Comfortable Is the Soft Tape?
The Flexible Casting Tape features soft and smooth edges, ensuring comfortable support for the patient. Despite this, it still remains strong and rigid for reliable use.
How Does the Delta-Cast Tape Help with Immobilisation?
Immobilisation may present some discomfort, and this tape is designed to help reduce these effects. It reduces muscle atrophy and stiffness, while improving circulation to encourage faster healing.
How Easy Is It to Remove the Tape?
The Delta-Cast Tape can be easily removed when required by lifting and unpeeling. It can also be removed and trimmed using regular cast scissors.
What Is the Soft Tape Made From?
The Soft Casting Tape is made from a polyester substrate with a specially developed resin. It features a strong lamination of layers for a well-bonded cast with secure end laydown.
