How Do I Use the Cromptons Flat Transfer Sheet?
Transtex Flat Transfer Sheets can be used as a pair or as a single sheet folded in half. First, pass the sheet beneath the patient, using an approved manual handling technique. When the patient is safely positioned centrally on the sheet, take a firm grasp of the transfer sheet fabric and reposition the patient.
Please note that Transtex Transfer Sheet is not intended for lifting. All patient repositioning manoeuvres should be accomplished without lifting. It is important to follow your local hospital patient handling guidelines, which are normally available from the Health and Safety department.
Low Friction Transtex Material
Ensuring that patients are comfortable during repositioning, Cromptons Transfer Sheets feature Transtex fine fabric that is silicone coated on both sides, which reduces friction. Patient Specific Transfer Sheets are not intended for laundering, but small marks can be spot-cleaned.

Maintenance of Cromptons Patient Specific Sheets
Transtex Transfer Sheets are intended to accompany the patient in the hospital and then be discarded when the patient has no further use of them; they are not intended for laundering. However, if only lightly soiled, they may be wiped clean.
Please note that Transtex Flat Transfer Sheet is not intended for lifting.
