Low-Friction Fabric
The Cromptons Patient-Specific Slide Sheets are designed using a special, low-friction fabric called Transtex. This fabric is coated with silicone on either side and helps to improve patient mobility while in bed. This allows for easier patient handling and as a result, safer repositioning.

Allowing you to select the most appropriate size for you, depending on your patient needs, the Cromptons Patient-Specific Slide Sheet Pack is supplied in three sizes that range from standard to bariatric. Simply refer to the table below for more information on which size to choose:

How Do I Use the Slide Sheets?
Before you can use the slide sheet to manoeuvre your patient, you must be familiar with the proper handling technique. Begin by placing the sheet under the patient, moving them accordingly so that they are positioned centrally on top of the sheet. Next, grasp the sheet by its edge and manoeuvre your patient safely into the required position.

Maintenance of the Slide Sheets
This Slide Sheet Pack is patient-specific and so is intended for use by one patient only, while they are in care. Dispose of the slide sheet(s) after the patient in question no longer has use for them.
Please note that this product is not designed for lifting. Any manoeuvre that is carried out while using this pack must be done so without lifting the patient.
