How Does the EM28 TENS Brace Work?
The EM28 Wrist and Lower Arm TENS Brace consists of an adjustable cuff with a buckle fastener, and an operating element with a handy belt clip. The cuff includes two wear-free contact electrodes and release gentle, pain-relieving electrical current to your wrist and lower arm.
What Is TENS?
TENS, or transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation, is a method of pain relief involving the use of a mild electrical current. The Beurer EM28 TENS Brace is ideal for combating pain in the wrist, and provides pain relief with four pre-programmed applications.
Who Can Use the EM28 TENS Brace?
The EM28 TENS Brace is a practical option for providing TENS-based pain relief for individuals suffering from aches and pains in the wrist or lower arm. It is suitable for home use, and may also be used in clinics and rehabilitation centres during TENS therapy.
The device must not be used by users of cardiac pacemakers, epileptics, pregnant woman, people with cardiac arrhythmias.
How Easy To Use Is the TENS EM28 Brace?
The TENS EM28 Brace is very easy to use. Simply select the frequency required (4Hz to 110Hz), and then, once the brace is in position, you can begin the therapy for the designed time of either 25 minutes or 30 minutes. There is no need for any contact gel or replacement electrodes.
The EM28 also features an internal memory function that saves the most recent settings. This means that, if you wish to use the same settings each time you use the brace, there won't be any need to adjust them. Full instructions can be found in the user manual below.

Will the EM28 Brace Fit My Wrist?
The EM28 TENS Brace is suitable for wearing on a wrist with a circumference of around 14cm and up. It also features a flexible ergonomic shape to make wearing the brace as comfortable as possible.
How Do I Wash the TENS Wrist Brace?
Once you have disconnected the connection cable and removed the batteries, the control unit can be cleaned with a slightly damp cloth. No chemicals or abrasive cleaning agents should be used, and care must be taken to ensure that no water goes inside the control unit.
With the cuff fully disconnected, it can be washed in lukewarm soapy water. Hot water must not be used, and the cuff must be rinsed thoroughly after washing. It can be patted dry with a towel and then left to dry fully.
