The Aquaplast ProDrape-T Optiperf White 3.2mm Splinting Material (46 x 61cm) is a highly conformable thermoplastic material which is suitable for the creation of splints. At 3.2mm thick, this material is the traditional thickness for splints, providing stability and firm support. Well-suited for positioning and holding joints, aiding abnormal tone, contractures and fracture bracing, with static, dynamic and progressive splinting of the upper and lower extremities.

Gentle, smooth motions achieve exceptional results and pressure and splint migration is reduced.This splinting material also features 100% memory, meaning repeated reheating is possible for economical splint revisions.
Transparent When Heated
The Aquaplast ProDrape-T becomes transparent when heated, allowing identification of pressure points and of landmarks for positioning to provide maximum comfort. Please note this applies to the White Aquaplast ProDrape-T only, and not any of the other colours.
OptiPerf 19% Perforation
This version of the Aquaplast ProDrape-T features OptiPerf 19% perforation. As a result, the material is lighter and provides greater ventilation for improved comfort and compliance.

Bonding of the Aquaplast ProDrape Splinting Material
The ProDrape Splinting Material can bonded in both temporary and permanent fashion:
- For a temporary bond, pinch heated surfaces together
- For a permanent bond, remove the coating with spirits or by safely scraping with a sharp instrument
Heating time should be one minute at 70 - 75°C, giving four to five minutes of working time.
