Anatomical Model Skeleton Stan A10

The Anatomical Model Skeleton Stan A10 is the most popular anatomical skeleton in the world, and has been the gold standard skeleton model in hospitals, practices, schools, universities and laboratories for over 50 years.

The Anatomical Model Skeleton Stan A10 is supplied with a skeleton stand on coasters and is made of durable, washable unbreakable plastic. Not only does Skeleton Stan feature an almost realistic human skeleton with approximately 200 bones, but also offers individual inserted teeth, quick and easy to remove limbs and realistic bone weight.

The A10 Anatomical Model Skeleton Stan is moulded from a natural cast which is true to original surface structure and detail. The arms and legs can be easily removed and are held in place with locking pins. These take only a few seconds to unscrew with your fingers. No tools are required.

The skull of this anatomical model skeleton is held in place with a long pin/nail that drops through the top of the skull and stabilises the skull by securing it in a metal rod. This means that the skull can be taken off quickly without compromising stability of the skull when it is in place on the skeleton.

The skull of the Anatomical Model Stan is a fully detailed skull which can be purchase separately (click here to see our A20 Anatomical Model Skull). This skull can be disassembled and reassembled with ease. Two rotating clasps keep the skull cap in place. When undone, the top of the skull can be removed to view the inside of the cranial cavity. The mandible can also be removed.

The jaw of the skull is mounted on springs to enable natural jaw movement. The eye sockets in the skull are naturally shaped and the optic canal is portrayed.

The ribcage is wired securely so as not to collapse in on itself, and the joints are made of stainless steel to stand up to hands on demonstrations.

It takes less than 20 minutes to assemble your Stand Model Skeleton. The ribcage and torso is supplied as one preassembled part. All you have to do to get Stan "up and running" is screw the lower leg and upper leg together with the supplied "quick screws" (no tools required) and attach these to the pelvis, attach the arms to the shoulders, pop the skull on and mount the skeleton on the stand. Absolutely no tools are required and instructions are supplied.

The stand that this skeleton model is mounted on is stable and has coaster with brakes for easy transportation, repositioning and stability during demonstration.
